One more shot of CN Train 422...but not for long. I casually kept pace and followed the train north up to Port Robinson, and when it didn't stop at the yard, I knew it would wind through Niagara Falls, and come back westbound, right into the sunshine at Garner Road...so the chase was on. |

Garner Road grade crossing. CN Train 422 rounds the bend at the top of the Niagara Escarpment, about to descend the steep grade down to the Welland Canal, St. Catharines, and beyond. Lucky for me, the train was on the north track, which is generally used by GO Transit and AMTRAK passenger trains - the north track for CN freight. |
